Tickets are $20 (General) and $15 (Senior/Military/Child under 10). General seating tickets are $25 at the door. Senior/Military/Child under 12 tickets are $20 at the door. Online tickets sales include a $1 convenience fee per ticket. When you click on the “Buy Now” button next to the performance date that you desire, you will be taken to another screen where you can enter the quantity of tickets you would like to purchase. Please print your receipt. This will serve as your ticket. The receipt will also be emailed to you. At door tickets (when available) are $25. Kidz Danz Kompany presents “The Nutcracker: In A Nutshell” at MPD Performance Space (8674 La Mesa Blvd. La Mesa, CA 91942) on December 8-10, 2023. A new take on the classic “tail”!
Clara visits the Land of the Squeaks each winter for Royal Rat’s Grand Cheese Ball. Joining the festivities, the Cheese Fairy brings treats for the rats and plans magic for the big event – but this year she is captured by Evil Nutcracker and his Nutshell Trappers! Clara must now travel through the kingdom of the Woodland Animals and rescue the Cheese Fairy. Will she be able to find the key to turning the Nutcracker good in time to save the Cheese Ball?
