Visionary School for the Performing Arts is holding auditions for “Lion King, Jr.” at the Visionary Studio (8693 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa, CA 91942) on August 27th and September 3rd, 2016 @ 9am. This production will be directed by Daniel Castro.
Please prepare 1-2 minutes of a song from a musical to sing. Please use a backing track (music only, no vocals). Please bring your music on an iPod or MP3 player.
If you are auditioning for a lead role, please prepare a 1 minute monologue.
The dance audition will be done during callbacks.
General auditions will be August 27th and September 3rd from 9am-12noon.
Call backs will be on September 3rd at 12:30pm. At callbacks, a choreographer will teach the group a dance for the dance audition portion. Please wear appropriate clothing and be prepared to move.
Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays (4:30pm-7pm) and Thursdays (4:30pm-7pm).
The show dates will be December 1-3 and 8-10, 2016.
Tuition is $350.
